Session Details

Here is an inside look at our coaching sessions, keeping in mind that each session is tailored to individual needs. For Middle + High School Coaching and College Coaching, we provide academic support during the Practice portion of the session.

01
Check-in

Check-in about any events or assignments from previous week.

02
Prioritize and Plan

Review commitments, preview upcoming events and assignments, and prioritize work for the session and beyond.

03
Practice

This is where we spend the majority of the session. We focus on issues, assignments, or tasks that are challenging and work through tough spots-academic challenges, work deadlines, or social concerns.

04
Take the Helm

At the end of our session, we commit to goals and practices for the upcoming week, in an effort to reclaim the helm of your life.

  • Jenn was the first person to believe me when I said I was struggling and helped me with those struggles. I am incredibly thankful for the help creating step-by-step plans to execute major assignments, advice on navigating challenging friendships without burning out, and her advice on things I could do outside of school to accommodate my learning style like associating certain music to certain tasks.

    —Ali, NYU Class of 2025

  • Jenn helped me when I was struggling in school. She taught me practical skills to keep track of assignments and supported me during times when I felt overwhelmed and avoidant. Nearly a decade later, the frameworks she introduced still shape how I think and plan today.

    —Alejandro, Washington, DC

  • Jenn is an extremely qualified executive function coach. She began working with my son in high school and continues to work with him in college. I had so much difficulty finding a professional executive coach with a special education background, who understands ADHD and can provide writing support. I am so lucky I found her!

    —Washington, D.C. parent

  • My son has had a few different coaches over the years and Mindy is the only one he asks for when he needs extra support. She is so kind, caring, brilliant, and has helped my son get through his challenging academics. And, as a bonus, has made it fun for him! I honestly don't know where we would be without her.

    —Robyn, Salt Lake City parent

  • Jenn establishes a strong rapport and working relationship with her students, which is genuine. It is so difficult to find the stellar combination of credentials she possesses.
